In this episode, Claire is joined by women’s health physiotherapist, Sarah Brandon of Aspire Physiotherapy.
We delve deep into the importance of pelvic floor health at all stages of life, for both men and women. We talk about vulvodynia, urgency, incontinence and how it's never to late to start supporting your pelvic floor.
Sarah is a Chartered Senior Physiotherapist and co-founder of Aspire Physiotherapy. She qualified from University College Dublin with two first class honours degrees in MSc Physiotherapy and BSc Health and Performance Science. She has undertaken advanced training in pelvic and women’s health physiotherapy from developing a passion in this area early on in her career.

Sarah is also a Pilates instructor and Strength and Conditioning coach and enjoys using these qualifications in her treatment plans and classes. She specifically enjoys treating pregnancy and post-natal women, giving them the confidence to exercise and achieve their full potential.
Originally from Dublin, Sarah moved to Dungarvan with her fiance Colm and step-up Aspire Physiotherapy Clinic.
Common clients Sarah treats are: women during pregnancy, post-natal women, incontinence, prolapse, defecation issues, pelvic pain, scar treatment, abdominal separation and more.
Sarah also works with men and women experiencing any musculoskeletal issues and she has a special interest in neck, back, pelvic and hip pain or dysfunction.
Outside of work Sarah loves being outdoors, drinking tea and eating chocolate. She has been riding horses for as long as she can remember with some international appearances.
Sarah has an open and friendly approach when working with her patients to achieve their goals. She is passionate about her job, her patients and providing high-quality service in a caring, compassionate and understanding manner. She combines her expert knowledge and experience to provide an evidence based, individualised and patient-centred treatment plan.
